It's still insane that Apple doesn't have features in place to clearly warn users about apps who have in-app purchases.

I will never, ever buy or support an app with in-app purchases, and if I ever discover that I bought one, I will promptly demand a full refund.

um....Yea well then how about giving us our 99¢ back?
You got paid under (admittedly) false pretenses. Time to refund us now.

What about refunds for users who were not informed of the total costs of the app and now want their dollar back?

First off, thanks for the information on this. As a software developer I can understand how little errors like this can happen in the labeling and testing of apps, so thanks for setting the record straight.

I'm looking forward to giving this a shot in a few months, when I'll be travelling and won't have my in-dash GPS. The pricing model works well for me, as it's much more economical than renting a unit from a rent-a-car place, and much cheaper than buying a second GPS unit from the in-dash one I have now.

To the poster above: clearly you haven't thought your comment through very well. Heaven forbid a company want to make money on a product they have spent time and money developing! How dare they!

It sounds to me like you were so keen to use the subscription model (and REALLY make money) that you made these "errors". I won't be buying your app.

I know that this message will probably not be posted too...
